Getting into shape is a tough challenge – but for a new mother of twins, it’s nearly impossible. But don’t tell that to Kate MacDonald, who two months after having her twins via C-section discovered the intense physical and mental change that can happen after Pilates ProWorks – nothing is impossible for her.
Now, after seeing her own personal transformation, Kate has decided to put her entrepreneurial background (she is the co-founder of Julep Beauty) toward opening a Pilates ProWorks studio in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle.
“I was immediately drawn to both the effective workout and the upbeat class experience,” MacDonald says. “I’m so excited to bring a Pilates ProWorks studio to the Pacific Northwest – boutique fitness has been essential to me personally staying in shape after having twins, and I know it can be transformational for others in my area as well.”
Pilates ProWorks franchisees like MacDonald have played an important role in the brand’s expansion – after beginning franchising in 2015, the brand has already grown to a total of 11 U.S. locations and five international locations open.
