Tricia spent her teenage years doing workout videos in her living room and dreaming of being a Fitness Instructor. After graduating in 2000 with a B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State, she became a Fitness Director and Personal Trainer. During this time Tricia fell in love with Pilates and became certified. She has been teaching Pilates since 2002. Tricia moved to San Francisco in November 2008 with her boyfriend. Tricia’s Pilates classes are a fun twist on traditional Pilates exercises. She also adds her knowledge of strength training to make a class that is fun for a beginner, yet challenging for the novice. In addition to teaching Pilates, Tricia is also a Personal Trainer, and is working toward her Yoga Certification.

Stephanie is a NASM certified personal trainer with a love of fitness and movement. Growing up in a small Virginia town, she studied 15 years of classical ballet, jazz and hip hop where her affinity for music and expression came to life. Relocating to Tuscan, Arizona she achieved her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and continued westward to settle in San Francisco. After working in advertising for three years it was time to pursue what mattered most; a healthy lifestyle and career. After seeing the benefits that movement therapy had on her father, who was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, Angelica decided to change her career path from design and photography to health and fitness. In 2005 she moved across the country to SF where she became a Yoga Alliance certified instructor. Discovering this new inner and physical strength in herself, she wanted to find more ways to help others find that love of fitness and new possibilities within their bodies, and decided to pursue workshops and certifications with the National Council on Strength and Fitness, Pilates Academy International, Balanced Body Universtiy and TRX. By integrating multiple disciplines and using visualization techniques to "talk to your body" Angelica believes that we can further our understanding of our mind/body connection and explore new realms of inner and physical strength while having a great time in health.

Ellie has been a die-hard adrenaline junkie ever since she blew off grad school, sold everything she owned, and moved to Costa Rica to work as a guide for Outward Bound. After several years as a kayak instructor in Costa Rica and Hawaii, she joined the Hawaii Volcano Circus and cultivated skills in partner acrobatics, fire spinning and stilt-walking. Upon returning to San Francisco in 2008, she attended the National Personal Training Institute, earning her personal training and pilates certifications. These days, she works as a trainer in several San Francisco studios teaching pilates, TRX, traditional and functional strength training, and rock climbing. She also teaches kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding classes all over the bay area. Incorporating her enthusiasm, experience and education with her almost pathological need to remain absurdly active, she maintains a vigorous regimen of running, cycling, pilates, paddling, climbing and weight lifting, and maniacally seizes any opportunity to drop some funk and break a sweat. She loves connecting people with whatever form of exercise excites, inspires, amuses, or at the very least doesn't offend them. Also, she really loves Prince.

Like many Pilates trainers, Jen is a dancer, but that’s not what led her to become a trainer. An athlete since childhood, poor running mechanics led to a painful low back injury. After moving to San Francisco in 2008, she discovered Pilates and how it helped manage that injury. About a year ago, Jen realized she wanted a career change, and cue the light bulb - she’s now a certified trainer under the ITT Pilates program. Jen loves making people more aware of how they move and improving their game - whether it’s running, golfing, or just looking and feeling better. She is an avid runner, hiker, and flamenco dancer, and a certified TRX group class instructor.

Mary has always found immense joy in physical activity. Starting in 1st grade she began her dance training in Modern, Ballet, Jazz and West African dance. She followed this passion for movement into academia by completing a BFA in contemporary dance performance and choreography at Ohio University. During that time she studied both Pilates and Yoga, receiving her teaching certification. From that point on, teaching and facilitating people in finding increased strength and coordination has become very important to her. Mary likes to incorporate elements of her dance training into her classes so that clients experience a dynamic workout.

She has also studied ways of working with people with injuries and other special populations, including pre and post-natal. She will keep your body safe while pushing you to the limit. After touring for 7 years she has learned how to keep in shape on the road. She specializes in people who travel or are on the go. Molly graduated from the University of Massachusetts where she studied sociology, psychology and dance. After graduation she started dancing professionally in Boston and then New York City. Molly's passion for the movement arts was cultivated through dance, and then continued to develop and transform as she discovered pilates and yoga. Pilates began for her as a functional practice, and has developed into what she describes as a way of life. She believes that what is practiced on the mat, reformer, or in any good class, can be carried with you leaving you with a better understanding of the body you inhibit and how to mindfully live within it. She strives to effectively teach techniques in class that can act as a type of "blueprinting" for the body to be drawn from throughout daily life. Molly's classes are energetic and thorough, with a focus on alignment. Oh, and you'll have fun too.

Physical fitness has always played an essential role in Sara’s life. Throughout high school she played varsity tennis, soccer and lacrosse, and went on to play lacrosse for a Division I team in college. When college sports came to an end, her love affair with yoga and pilates began. She was instantly addicted to both and knew she wanted to take her passion to the next level. Sara originally came to Pilates ProWorks as a student, and quickly fell in love with the FitFormer machine and the Pilates ProWorks method. Taking classes daily at ProWorks, Sara knew this was where she wanted to teach. Sara took her classical Pilates certification course with Pilates Sports Center of LA, and is thrilled to now be a part of the Pilates ProWorks team!
