Hall Monitor
In order to best serve you, and try to ensure availability in the schedule, we have adopted a similar, yet slightly more lenient, set of policies that most all pilates studios employ. Please familiarize yourself with the following, and feel free to call us with any questions.
RESERVATION POLICY: A member with an active paid series or monthly membership may reserve 1 class per day online up to 7 days in advance, with a maximum of 5 upcoming reservations at any one time. If you have more than 5 scheduled, the reservations that exceed the limit will be deleted.
WAITLIST POLICY: Even when a class appears to be full, you may, and should, add yourself to the wait list. When a cancellation is made, the first name on the wait list gets automatically added and confirmed for the class. You will receive an automated email at this time. Please consider yourself CONFIRMED and therefore responsible for either attending or canceling. By adding your name to the wait list, you are potentially signing up for the class! Please only sign up if you plan on attending. It does happen that people have to cancel at the last minute, or simply do not show up to claim their spot in class - so you may also stop by and if there is a vacancy 5 minutes after class starts, you may join the class.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: Any vacancies may be given to standby students 5 minutes after class start time.
CANCELLATION POLICY: A 12 hour cancellation notice is required and must be done through the on-line system to avoid any and all late charges. No phone cancellations please. There are two types of cancellation charges, “Late Cancel” and “No Show.”
- A Late Cancel charge will occur if you cancel less than 12 hours from the scheduled class time, this charge is $15 for pilates classes and $10 for Barre and TRX.
- A No Show charge occurs when you are signed up for a class and, you guessed it, do not Show Up OR cancel, this charge is $25 for pilates classes and $15 for Barre and TRX. Or if you have a series package, you will lose the session credit.
Sorry, but NO EXCEPTIONS. Please don’t ask.
CELL PHONE POLICY: As a courtesy to others, please, no talking on your phone inside the studio, and switch to vibrate mode or power off while you are in class.
EMAIL POLICY: All correspondence is done through email – wait list notifications, receipts, confirmations, and cancellations. So please, make sure you have an active email address entered in your account profile, and the Email Opt-In button checked. Don’t worry, this email is only used for important communication, not spam. To ensure your spam filter will allow our emails through, you should add ”automatedemail@mindbodyonline.com” to your contact list, address book, or whitelist. Search the help section of your email provider to find details on how to do this.
It sounds like a lot, but it is all mostly common sense and common courtesy – you’ll get the hang of it!
